WHAT WE DO

Landscape specialists who also build what sits under the landscape.

SALCO began in 1982 as a landscape and irrigation contractor in Jeddah. Four decades on, we self-perform the whole external-works package: softscape, hardscape, irrigation, earthworks, utilities, stormwater and lighting. A client signs one contract instead of six.

That order matters. For most contractors the finished surface is the last five percent of a job. For us it has always been the whole business.

Shura Island

Ten packages on one island built from dredged sand: the hotels at its centre and on its western arm, the public realm that links them, and the road and causeway that reach it. Every plant arrives across that causeway, and the growing medium with it.

OUR STORY

From a Jeddah landscaping partnership to the Kingdom's giga-projects

SALCO was entered on the Commercial Register in Jeddah in 1402, April 1982, as a landscaping partnership. Forty-four years on it is a multi-divisional contractor running earthworks, roads, utilities, treatment plants and golf courses, still headquartered on the same street in Al-Hamra where it started.

Our environment sustains us. We sustain it back.

Planting, irrigation, water reuse, stormwater and environmental rehabilitation are not a side activity here. They are most of what we do. Over the last decade we have put more than 25 million trees, palms and shrubs in the ground, around 2.5 million a year, raised in our own nurseries.

CERTIFICATION

Audited, and open to inspection

Our management systems are audited by GRS Certification against the scope we actually work in: roads, commercial, residential and industrial buildings, wet and dry utilities, landscape and hardscape, and marine works. Four standards: ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, and ISO 31000 for risk management. SALCO is classified with a technical score of 98.25 and holds a BBB credit rating. Every certificate below opens in full, with its number and its dates.

ما نقوم به

متخصصون في تنسيق المواقع، وننفّذ كذلك ما تحتها من بنية تحتية.

بدأت سالكو عام 1982 كشركة تنسيق وري في جدة. وبعد أربعة عقود، ننفّذ حزمة الأعمال الخارجية كاملة: الزراعة والأعمال الصلبة والري وأعمال الحفر والمرافق وتصريف الأمطار والإنارة. وبذلك يوقّع العميل عقداً واحداً بدلاً من ستة.

والترتيب هنا مهم. فما يعدّه أغلب المقاولين آخر خمسة في المئة من المشروع، هو عملنا الأساسي منذ البداية.

جزيرة شورى

عشر حزم أعمال في جزيرة واحدة بُنيت من رمل مجروف: الفنادق في وسطها وعلى جناحها الغربي، والمجال العام الذي يربطها، والطريق والجسر الموصلان إليها. فكل نبتة تعبر ذلك الجسر، وتربة الزراعة معها.

قصتنا

من شراكة لتنسيق الحدائق في جدة إلى مشاريع المملكة الكبرى

سُجّلت سالكو في السجل التجاري بجدة عام 1402هـ، الموافق أبريل 1982م، كشراكة لتنسيق الحدائق. وبعد أربعة وأربعين عاماً أصبحت مقاولاً متعدد التخصصات ينفّذ أعمال الحفر والطرق والمرافق ومحطات المعالجة وملاعب الجولف، من المقر نفسه في حي الحمراء الذي بدأت منه.

الزراعة والري وإعادة استخدام المياه وتصريف الأمطار والتأهيل البيئي ليست نشاطاً جانبياً لدينا، بل هي معظم ما نقوم به. زرعنا خلال العقد الماضي أكثر من 25 مليون شجرة ونخلة وشجيرة، بمعدل 2.5 مليون نبتة سنوياً، من مشاتلنا الخاصة.
