What this website collects

Browsing this website does not require an account. The site sets no cookies for visitors, stores nothing in your browser, and runs no advertising trackers. The only cookies it uses belong to its administration area, which only authorised SALCO staff can sign in to.

Visit statistics

To understand how the site is used, we count visits with our own statistics tool, which runs on the same server as the website and shares nothing with any other company. For each page viewed it records the page, the date and time, the website you came from, the language, your approximate country, the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer), the browser and operating system, the screen width, the time spent on the page, and clicks on certain links, such as downloading the company profile.

Your IP address is used only at the moment of the visit, to find the country and to form an anonymous code that changes every day, and it is not stored. The code lets us count visitors on a given day without being able to recognise anyone on a later day, and the statistics do not identify anyone. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, your visit is not counted. The statistics are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted.

Like any website, our hosting provider also records technical information in server logs, such as the IP address, the browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used only to run and protect the site.

When you contact us

If you email us, call us, or use the prequalification and quotation links, which open your own email program, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and message. We use them to reply to you and to handle your enquiry, and we keep them only as long as the enquiry, or any business relationship that follows from it, requires. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing.

Job applications

The careers application form is provided by MakeForms, a third-party form service, and the details and CV you submit are stored on its servers, which may be outside the Kingdom. We use application data only to assess your application for roles at SALCO. We keep it for as long as recruitment for the role requires, and delete it afterwards unless you ask us to keep it for future vacancies.

Services that deliver parts of this page

Some parts of the site are delivered by other providers, which receive your IP address in the normal course of sending content to your browser: Google Fonts for the typefaces, Gumlet for the project videos, and Terrascope, operated for the European Space Agency, for the satellite map imagery. Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, including our LinkedIn, X and Instagram pages, the SALCO staff e-services portal, and news sources such as the Saudi Exchange and the Saudi Press Agency. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow those links.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or completed, or to have it deleted when it is no longer needed. To make a request, email info@salco-sa.com. We will respond within the period the law sets.

We may update this notice when the website or our practices change. The date below shows when it was last revised.
